This course is approved by the Georgia Insurance Commissioner Office as a Pre-licensing Course for individuals who want to obtain a license to become an Agent in the state of Georgia. This course is a prerequisite to taking the state exam.

About Your Instructor

Certified Risk Management Lecturer and Instructor

Tamara Gatson

Gatson Training Associates (GTA) was founded in 2007 by a local insurance agency owner, Tamara Gatson. Tamara received her Bachelor degree from Georgia State University and a Masters of Business Administration from Keller University. She currently holds five insurance licenses, a registered real estate appraisal license.The first training classes offered were continuing education courses geared towards existing licensed agents. The school quickly expanded its reach, and now offers a variety of classes including continuing education and pre-licensing courses across the state. Tamara is a part-time lecturer at the University of Georgia in the Risk Management Department.Today, we offer a well-rounded educational experience for insurance and real estate professionals.
Our courses provide a range of benefits including : state approved quality educational courses, seasoned instructors, networking opportunities, seminars and many career enrichment courses.

Tamara for being such a great instructor i appreciate the dedication and preparation that you have and the same level that you prepare your students, when i took your class i was doubting if would be able to actually retain the information and test well but as a result of the structure of your class i was able to overcome my fear of learning something new and test anxiety i took the exam and passed by following the instruction set forth in your class and presentations. I Highly recommend This course to everyone 5 Stars for sure!

I definitely loved that I could go at my own pace, however you have to be really dedicated to get through some of the chapters. It's A LOT of reading, and some chapters are really boring, but overall I learned a lot and I'm excited to get this behind me! Just make sure to do all of the quizzes and reading and you should be fine!
